What an ArduPilot message means and what to do about it

Українська

All stored parameters were erased

WarningLogging and storage

What ArduPilot says:

The ground station sent the command that erases the parameter storage (in Mission Planner, the “Reset to Default” button). The storage is empty now, but the values in memory are still the old ones: nothing changes until the reboot. After the reboot everything is at this firmware's defaults: frame type, calibrations, radio set-up, serial ports, failsafes, tuning.

What to do, most likely first

  1. You meant it: a clean start before setting the aircraft up again.

FixReboot, then set up from the beginning: frame, calibrations, radio, failsafes. Loading a backup file brings the values back but not always the calibrations of a board that has been moved or rebuilt.

  2. You did not mean it.

CheckThe board has not been rebooted yet, so the old values are still in memory.

FixBefore rebooting, save the full parameter list to a file from the ground station. After the reboot, load that file and check it with Parameter Compare & Migrate.

The code that sends it

All parameters reset, reboot board
