The mission jumped to its landing approach or its way back
What ArduPilot says:
- Return path started
- Landing sequence active
- Return path active
- Landing abort sequence start
- Landing sequence start
A mission can hold a landing approach marked by a DO_LAND_START item and a way back marked by DO_RETURN_PATH_START. “Landing sequence start” means the mission has jumped to the DO_LAND_START nearest to the aircraft and will now fly the landing. “Return path started” means it has joined the mission at the closest point of the route that follows a DO_RETURN_PATH_START. “… active” means the aircraft was asked to join the return path while already flying the landing or the return path, and stays on it. “Landing abort sequence start” means a landing was aborted and the mission has jumped to the nearest DO_GO_AROUND item.
On a copter this is the Auto RTL mode, started by a switch, a ground station command or a failsafe set to it.
