What an ArduPilot message means and what to do about it

Українська

The lift-motor test was refused

Stops itPlane: take-off, landing, QuadPlanePlane only

What ArduPilot says:

The ground station's motor test spins one lift motor at a time. “Must be disarmed for motor test”: it only starts while disarmed. “Motor Test: Check frame class and type”: Q_FRAME_CLASS and Q_FRAME_TYPE together do not describe a layout ArduPilot knows, so no motors were set up.

What to do, most likely first

  1. The aircraft is armed.

FixDisarm, take the props off, then start the test.

  2. Q_FRAME_TYPE is not a valid arrangement for the Q_FRAME_CLASS.

CheckThe line “QuadPlane initialised, Frame: …” at start-up shows what ArduPilot made of the two values.

FixSet a type that exists for your class (for a quad, 1 is X and 0 is plus), then reboot.

Props off for every motor test: the motor spins as soon as the test starts.
