What an ArduPilot message means and what to do about it

Українська

Q_ANGLE_MAX is outside 10° to 80°

Stops itPlane: take-off, landing, QuadPlanePlane onlyNot in 4.7

What ArduPilot says:

Q_ANGLE_MAX is the largest lean angle ArduPilot allows in every VTOL mode, in hundredths of a degree. The check wants it between 1000 and 8000 (10° to 80°); the default is 3000 (30°).

What to do, most likely first

  1. The value was typed in degrees: 30 instead of 3000.

FixSet Q_ANGLE_MAX in hundredths of a degree: 3000 for 30°.

  2. The value was mistyped above 8000, or came from a parameter file of another firmware.

FixSet a value between 1000 and 8000; 3000 is the default.

4.7 keeps this limit in degrees (10 to 80) in the VTOL attitude controller's own angle-limit parameter, and reports a wrong value as a “Bad parameter: …” line instead.
