What an ArduPilot message means and what to do about it

A DroneCAN proximity sensor has no range set

WarningRangefinder, optical flow, camera, OSD and other devicesCopter only

What ArduPilot says:

A DroneCAN proximity sensor was found, and both its PRXn_MIN and PRXn_MAX are 0. The sensor still works, but what the ground station is told about its range will be wrong. The number in the message counts from 0: “Configure PRX0_MIN and PRX0_MAX” is about PRX1_MIN and PRX1_MAX.

What to do, most likely first

  1. The range of the sensor was never entered.

FixSet PRXn_MIN and PRXn_MAX to the shortest and longest distance the sensor measures, in metres, from its manual.
