What an ArduPilot message means and what to do about it

Українська

Precision landing has picked up its target

InformationRangefinder, optical flow, camera, OSD and other devices

What ArduPilot says:

The precision landing sensor has started to see its target. With the default estimator (PLND_EST_TYPE 1, a Kalman filter) ArduPilot then wants 2 s of sightings before it steers by them: “PrecLand: Init Complete” marks that, and “PrecLand: Init Failed” means the target went out of view for more than 0.5 s before the 2 s were up. In a log the line shows at what height, and how far from the landing point, the target was first seen.
