What an ArduPilot message means and what to do about it

Українська

Saving the trims from the switch was refused

Stops itAutoTune and controlPlane only

What ArduPilot says:

The switch “set trim to current servo and RC” (RCn_OPTION 155) saves the present stick and servo positions as the new trims, and it refused. “not in manual mode”: it works in MANUAL only, where the servos follow the sticks directly. “large roll and pitch input”: a stick was more than 20% of its travel away from the centre, too much to be a trim. “large movement”: the plane was rotating faster than 30° per second, so it was not in steady flight.

What to do, most likely first

  1. The switch was used in a mode other than MANUAL.

FixIn MANUAL, trim the plane with the transmitter's trim buttons until it flies level hands-off, then use the switch.

  2. You were holding a stick over to keep the plane level.

FixTake the correction out with the trim buttons so that the sticks are centred, then use the switch. If more than 20% is needed, fix it mechanically: linkage lengths, centre of gravity.

  3. The plane was turning or being shaken at that moment.

FixUse the switch in straight, level, calm flight.
