What an ArduPilot message means and what to do about it

Українська

The motor test was refused: the copter is not ready for it

Stops itMotors, ESCs and outputsCopter only

What ArduPilot says:

“Board initialising”: the flight controller has not finished starting; in the first seconds after power-on it is still calibrating its sensors. “vehicle not landed”: ArduPilot does not consider the copter to be on the ground, because it is armed and flying or has only just touched down. The motor test, and Turtle mode, start only from a landed copter. The words before the colon say which of the two was asked for.

What to do, most likely first

  1. The test was started within the first seconds after power-on.

FixKeep the copter still, wait for the start-up messages to end, and try again.

  2. The copter is armed, or has only just landed.

FixDisarm, wait a few seconds, and run the test with the props off.
