What an ArduPilot message means and what to do about it

Українська

The engine's fuel-injection type is not one this firmware knows

WarningRangefinder, optical flow, camera, OSD and other devices

What ArduPilot says:

EFI is electronic fuel injection: ArduPilot can read a combustion engine's controller for RPM, temperature and fuel use. EFI_TYPE holds a number this firmware has no driver for, so no engine data will arrive. It is checked once, at boot.

What to do, most likely first

  1. There is no such engine: the parameter came from another aircraft's file.

FixSet EFI_TYPE to 0 and reboot.

  2. The driver for that engine controller is not built into this board's firmware.

CheckThe Firmware Inspector lists what a firmware file was built with.

FixBuild a firmware with that EFI driver.
