Compassmot ended without a result
What ArduPilot says:
- Failed
The motor interference test stopped before it had measured anything. No correction was saved, and COMPASS_MOTCT is set to 0 (none). With a current sensor the test learns only while the battery current is 3 A or more; without one, while the throttle is above zero.
What to do, most likely first
The throttle was never raised far enough for the current to reach 3 A.
FixRun the test again: raise the throttle slowly to about half, hold it a few seconds, lower it, then finish. Fix the copter down first: the motors spin.
The test ended at once: the ground station sent another command, or a compass dropped out.
FixStart it again and do nothing else in the ground station until it is done. If a compass keeps dropping out, check its cable.
The current sensor reads zero although the motors run.
CheckThe battery current in the ground station stays at 0 A with the throttle raised.
FixSet up the battery monitor first (
BATT_MONITORand the current calibrationBATT_AMP_PERVLT), then repeat the test.
Parameters to look at
| Parameter | What it is |
|---|---|
COMPASS_MOTCT | Motor interference compensation type |
