Start-up is running, then finished
What ArduPilot says:
- ArduPilot Ready
- Initialising ArduPilot
“Initialising ArduPilot” is repeated every 5 seconds for as long as start-up lasts: the sensors are found, the barometer and the gyros are calibrated. “ArduPilot Ready” marks the end of it; only from there do the pre-arm checks pass and can it arm. A normal start shows the first line once or twice, or not at all.
What to do, most likely first
“Initialising ArduPilot” repeats for up to half a minute: the aircraft is being moved, and the gyro calibration waits for it to be still.
FixPut it down before powering it and leave it still. After about 30 seconds the calibration gives up and start-up goes on, but then “Gyros not calibrated” stops arming: reboot with the aircraft still.
“ArduPilot Ready” never comes: start-up has stopped on an error.
FixLook for a line beginning “Config Error:”, repeated every 5 seconds, and follow its explanation.
