A smart battery says it is switching off
What ArduPilot says:
- Vehicle N battery N is powering off
A smart battery (a DroneCAN one, or the 3DR Solo's) has told ArduPilot that it is powering down: its button was pressed, or its own protection decided to. ArduPilot plays the power-off tune and tells the ground station once. The first number is the aircraft's MAVLink system id, the second the battery.
What to do, most likely first
The battery's power button was pressed on the ground.
FixThis is the normal shutdown: nothing to fix.
In flight: the battery's own protection is cutting the power.
FixLand at once: the battery has said it is about to stop supplying power. Afterwards read the battery's own fault indication and check that it suits the current the aircraft draws.
The code that sends it
Vehicle N battery N is powering off
