What an ArduPilot message means and what to do about it

Українська

It armed with the arming checks switched off

WarningArming, disarming and the safety switch

What ArduPilot says:

It armed, and ARMING_CHECK is 0: none of the checks that can be switched off were made. Nothing looked at the compass, GPS, accelerometers, battery, radio calibration, board voltage or logging before the motors started; only the few tests that cannot be switched off ran. This line, once per arming, is the only reminder.

What to do, most likely first

  1. The checks were switched off to get past one failing check and never switched back.

FixSet ARMING_CHECK to 1 (all checks, the default) and read what the pre-arm checks say now: each message has its own explanation here. Fix those, one by one.

  2. The parameters came from another aircraft or from a file found online.

CheckParameter Compare & Migrate shows what else in your parameters differs from the defaults.

FixBring back the default as above, and go through the other differences before the next flight.

  3. One check truly cannot pass on this aircraft: it has no compass, for example.

FixLeave out that one check only. In ARMING_CHECK untick “All” and tick every check except it; never clear the whole list.

The warning is sent only when it armed the normal way. A forced arm from the ground station skips the same checks and says nothing.
