A request to download logs was refused
What ArduPilot says:
- Disarm for log download
- Log download in progress
Downloading logs over the MAVLink link and flying exclude each other. “Disarm for log download”: the ground station asked for the list of logs, or for a log, while the aircraft was armed; the request is ignored, and ArduPilot says so once. “Log download in progress”: a request came in while a download on another link is being served. The opposite case, arming refused because a download is running, is the pre-arm message “Downloading logs”.
What to do, most likely first
The aircraft is armed, perhaps on the bench with the props off.
FixDisarm, then ask for the logs again. Taking the card out and reading it in a computer is much faster than a download over telemetry.
Two ground stations, or one ground station on two links, ask for logs at the same time.
CheckIs the aircraft connected both by USB and by a telemetry radio?
FixDownload from one link only, and let it finish or cancel it before starting another.
A download that was cut off (cable pulled, ground station closed) is never ended by ArduPilot on its own: there is no time limit. Open the download window again and close it properly, or reboot the flight controller.
