What an ArduPilot message means and what to do about it

Українська

Which signal each output sends

InformationStart-up and what the board reports

After start-up ArduPilot lists its outputs by protocol; the numbers are output numbers (1 is SERVO1). “DS600:1-4 PWM:5-12 NeoP:13” reads: outputs 1 to 4 DShot600, 5 to 12 PWM, 13 an LED strip. PWM is the classic servo and ESC pulse; OneS is OneShot; OS125 OneShot125; Brush brushed motors; DS150, DS300, DS600 and DS1200 are DShot at that many kbit/s; NeoP a NeoPixel strip; ProfiLED a ProfiLED strip. Outputs that send nothing are left out. “RCOut: None” means no output is active; “Initialising”, that it was asked too early. Bidirectional DShot is not marked.

What to do, most likely first

  1. A motor output shows PWM although the ESCs expect DShot (or the other way round).

FixSet MOT_PWM_TYPE to the protocol your ESCs use (6 is DShot600) and reboot. Props off for the motor test that follows.

  2. An output has a protocol you did not ask for: it shares a timer with outputs that have it.

CheckThe Board & Wiring Planner shows your board's outputs by timer group.

FixAll outputs of one timer group send the same protocol. Move the servo or the LED strip to an output of another group.
